How you’ll play your part
As Collections Oversight Co-ordinator, you will provide operational, analytical and governance support to the Principal Collections Manager in overseeing the Appointed Representative delivering FCA-regulated collections activities. You will support management information, governance coordination, quality assurance, risk tracking and administration to maintain effective oversight processes and enable informed decision-making.
Main accountabilities
- Governance and operational oversight: Maintain governance frameworks, action logs, meeting materials and oversight documentation. Coordinate governance forums, prepare packs, capture minutes, track actions and maintain accurate audit trails.
- Continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to improve oversight processes, governance controls and operational reporting, and coordinate agreed improvements between stakeholders and the Appointed Representative.
- Performance monitoring and management information: Produce MI and oversight dashboards covering KPIs, SLAs and operational performance. Analyse data for trends, anomalies and emerging risks, and provide commentary for senior management.
- Customer outcomes and quality assurance: Complete customer file reviews, gather evidence and support customer outcome testing, highlighting potential customer detriment and areas requiring escalation.
- Risk and issue tracking: Maintain operational risk and issue logs, track remediation actions, support incident and complaint investigations, and provide structured updates for risk reporting.
- Stakeholder, training and coordination support: Coordinate information between internal stakeholders and the Appointed Representative, including service requests, escalations, training sessions and SME engagement.
- Administrative tasks: Support write-off reviews, ICS controls, invoice approvals, third-party payment checks, AR starters and leavers, IT tickets, system testing, indemnity claims, integrity issues, governance minutes and Supplier Management Toolkit requirements.
About you
- Strong analytical capability with experience in MI reporting and performance tracking.
- Understanding of FCA-regulated collections environments and customer outcome requirements.
- Experience supporting governance frameworks, risk tracking and operational oversight.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Effective stakeholder management and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accurate documentation skills.
