Within CACEIS Bank France, the Private Equity Real Estate Solutions (PERES) business line provides services to private equity and real estate management companies, including depositary, accounting, middle-office and investor services.

As a Client Operations Officer in the Depositary Operations Services & Investors Services team, you will handle the activities associated with asset position keeping for PERES funds and provide depositary statements reflecting the assets held. You will manage a portfolio of clients and funds and act as the primary client contact on these matters, working with sales teams, valuers, middle-office teams and depositary control.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor client activity through movements recorded in accounts.
  • Obtain and check supporting documentation from clients to update positions in pure registered form.
  • Analyse and validate documentation in accordance with regulations and internal procedures.
  • Enter transactions into the position-keeping tool, eFront, and contribute to validating transactions entered by colleagues.
  • Manage daily client relationships concerning position keeping.
  • Perform occasional checks on client funds as part of circularisation activities.
  • Support reporting on client satisfaction, complaints and dissatisfaction.
  • Analyse recurring issues, propose and monitor corrective action plans, and promptly alert management and sales teams.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, ideally in management, finance or accounting.
  • At least 3 years of experience in securities or fund administration.
  • Knowledge of depositary, custody, investor register or fund valuation activities.
  • Strong client relationship and service skills, with rigour and analytical and summarising abilities.
  • Responsive, organised and able to work as part of a team.
  • Proactive in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ideally eFront.
