Job description
Within the Fund Distribution Services department, the Transfer Agent is responsible for processing investors’ subscription, redemption, transfer and conversion orders for fund units within the required deadlines. The role also involves pre-advising and advising promoters, placing orders with the target transfer agent and processing the resulting financial flows.
As a key contact for clients and managers, the Transfer Agent responds to requests and ensures the resolution of payment or securities settlement incidents.
Main activities include:
- Checking and processing subscription, redemption, transfer and conversion orders for fund units
- Placing orders with target transfer agents
- Performing first-level operational controls
- Ensuring NAVs are received from external counterparties
- Generating transaction confirmations for investors
- Generating pre-advice and/or advice notices for managers
- Processing and monitoring cash and securities suspenses
- Preparing, filing and archiving documents

As part of the recruitment process, the shortlisted candidate will be asked to provide Luxembourg criminal record certificate no. 3, or an equivalent document for non-residents, issued less than three months earlier.

Education and experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. You have a degree in Finance and initial professional experience, ideally in an investment fund environment. Minimum experience: 0–2 years.
Required skills
- Interest in or knowledge of the investment fund environment, particularly transfer agent services and the related flows
- Ability to work in a team in a dynamic environment with daily deadlines
- Strong customer relationship skills
- Proficiency with IT tools, particularly Microsoft Office
- Fluent French and English
