Job Purpose
The main purpose is to ensure proper alignment in the strategy and execution of sales, trade marketing and marketing. The Business Analyst is a key business partner for the marketing manager and team, takes the lead on investment analysis to optimize resource allocation, and prepares commercial management reports and insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and control commercial fixed and variable costs.
- Build costs and reforecast as part of the governance process (AP and RoFo).
- Perform monthly variance analysis and provide insights versus plan and last year.
- Support the use of accounts and cost centers.
- Ensure all accruals and provisions are recorded properly and on time.
- Ensure cost control, accuracy, tracking and KPI follow-up.
- Share and review commerce performance reports with the marketing manager and team.
- Optimize commercial spend.
- Develop monthly commercial firepower.
- Ensure execution of regional CSP guidelines and the Brand Role Framework.
- Address and reinforce cost-optimizing initiatives and opportunities.
- Plan and control marketing investment, including CAPEX planning and deployment.
- Process fund applications.
- Develop business cases and provide insights.
- Ensure the accuracy and correctness of the cost base.
- Monitor purchase contracts and ensure allocation to the relevant account.
- Control and review the monthly accrual of commercial costs.
- Participate in necessary ad hoc analysis requests and activities within the Business Control Team.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.
Experience and skills: 2–4 years’ experience in management accounting or controlling, preferably within FMCG; strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work on an ERP system; advanced Excel skills.
