What you’ll be working on
As a BMS Automation Engineer, you will design and implement Building Automation Systems and Environmental Monitoring Systems. You will review and document BMS software according to G(a)MP regulations.
- Define and document User and Functional Requirements for Building Automation Systems activities.
- Coordinate BMS version upgrades or migrations from project initiation to completion.
- Work with system owners, software suppliers, and automation engineers to ensure seamless execution.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, including GMP.
- Apply best practices to optimize automation processes and improve system performance.
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Industrial Automation, Electrical Engineering, or a relevant technical discipline.
- Experience in a technical, regulated environment, ideally with GMP/GAMP knowledge.
- Knowledge of BMS application software, preferably Honeywell or Priva, and industrial automation infrastructure.
- Knowledge of BMS graphics and hardware is an advantage.
- Deep knowledge of HVAC systems.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with stakeholders, engineers, and operators.

Your work environment
Capgemini Engineering’s Manufacturing & Industrial Operations department has over 200 colleagues working on industrial automation, smart factory, and data science projects in the Netherlands and occasionally abroad. Projects range from upgrading automation systems and developing IoT-enabled sensors to creating predictive models for warehouse logistics.
