About the role
The Bid Manager leads and orchestrates complex pursuits below €25M, applying sales excellence methodologies to build high-quality, compliant, and competitive proposals. The Bid Manager ensures proper qualification, disciplined governance through Rainbow, and effective stakeholder alignment to drive win outcomes with optimal cost of sale.
Responsibilities
- Win Strategy & Qualification: Apply Win Strategy and ensure opportunity qualification before full bid engagement.
- Bid Planning & Governance: Own the end-to-end bid plan; enforce Rainbow approvals and governance checkpoints.
- Proposal & Deliverable Management: Oversee proposal structure, content quality, client presentations, and submission readiness.
- Project & Resource Management: Plan timelines, allocate resources, track risks and issues, and control cost of sale.
- Stakeholder Management: Align internal teams including Sales, Presales, Finance, Legal, Delivery, and partners; maintain clear communications.
- Competitive & Price-to-Win: Integrate competitive analysis and Price-to-Win insights into bid strategy.
- Risk & Compliance: Identify and mitigate risks; ensure compliance with processes and tools including Salesforce and document controls.
- Continuous Improvement: Capture lessons learned and contribute reusable assets and best practices to the bid community.
Requirements
- Demonstrated success leading complex bids with strong governance, high proposal quality, and measurable win outcomes.
- Solid foundation in Program Management or Proposal/Demand Management.
- Advanced English and French language skills.
