Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization
Build the adidas brand as the best sports brand in Taiwan by implementing planning and execution processes for the Retail Marketing Team, managing the retail marketing budget, and developing creative materials and ideas to enhance brand presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and recommend the Retail Marketing plan for Sports Performance according to go-to-market strategy and goals.
- Create innovative retail ideas that convey adidas products and brand assets as innovative and exciting.
- Adapt above-the-line communications for in-store implementation.
- Source globally and locally produced point-of-purchase materials while maintaining adidas quality standards.
- Coordinate concept development, adaptation, production, monitoring, and evaluation of executions.
- Develop the yearly marketing working budget plan and rolling monthly forecast.
- Lead and coordinate stakeholders and projects to ensure timely delivery, effective resource use, and achievement of objectives.
- Manage the Sports Performance Retail Marketing budget and monitor it through monthly reports and forecasts.
- Follow finance procedures and non-trade policy.
- Use global marketing campaigns to build effective in-store communications and drive product sell-through.
- Coordinate quality control for production materials and the launch of point-of-purchase materials with relevant teams.
- Work with CTC, BA, Channel, Sales, and other teams on in-store communications development.
- Assume responsibility for production of materials with the adidas Originals logo and perform other duties as assigned.
Key Performance Indicators
Traffic and conversion, sales, comparable sales, wholesale market share, NPS, and marketing working budget management.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong experience in production of point-of-purchase materials and hardware.
- Complete understanding of point-of-purchase development processes.
- Experience working with production houses.
- Art design background and strong design sense.
- Strong conceptual understanding of brand building.
- Excellent attention to detail, presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft products.
Minimum Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in below-the-line production.
- University degree in Business or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience in the sporting goods or retail industry.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin.
Key Relationships
Internal interfaces include CTC, BA, VM, Retail Development, and Channel Teams. External interfaces include audio/visual production houses, point-of-purchase and hardware suppliers, customers, retailers, and GCA Retail Marketing Teams.
