Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization
ISC has to define the window concept and ISC for the retail marketing calendar. This role is responsible for designing in-store fixtures and elements required for retail activation by taking inputs from Brand Marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive the translation, adaptation and production of ISC elements according to global Retail Marketing Campaigns, Promotions and In-Store Communication guidelines.
- Work closely with market Brand Marketing on creative development and obtain all necessary global CoE Mono-brand approvals.
- Develop complete campaign concepts, including windows and ISC.
- Arrange pilots and evaluate concepts with Brand Marketing, Retail Marketing and Visual Merchandising stakeholders.
- Develop in-store communication elements based on store-specific needs, such as store directories and pathfinders.
- Work within set budget controls.
- Develop activation tools for specific campaigns and promotions with Retail Marketing and Brand Marketing.
- Provide detailed guidelines in finalized dockets for VM teams and vendors.
- Train and brief agencies on element requirements based on the marketing calendar.
- Monitor innovations in materials and concepts used by competitors and other brands.
- Review ISC effectiveness through regular feedback from Operations and Visual Merchandising.
- Ensure ISC elements comply with global standards and provide a leading shopping experience.
- Support the Visual Merchandising Manager in implementing Global Franchise visual merchandising standards and guidelines across store concepts and formats in the specified region.
- Ensure stores comply with global standards, identify local store needs and best practices, and conduct store visits according to plan.
- Coach Store Managers and specified store staff on Global Franchise Visual Merchandising standards and guidelines.
- Provide feedback on competitor activity and fashion trends and implement locally applicable tactical solutions as advised.
- Collate seasonal and promotional POS collateral numbers and communicate them to the Marketing Activation Manager.
- Ensure windows follow the marketing calendar and window guidelines, including stickers, graphics and mannequins.
Controlling
- Measure progress against own KPIs.
- Report to superiors and monitor relevant reports.
- Monitor and report on customer and competitor sell-through and activities, proposing and initiating actions.
- Provide realistic plans.
Key Relationships
Hub Omnichannel Activation and VM Team; Visual Merchandising team; Brand Activation Team; Category and Merchandising Teams; Market Retail team, including Retail Back Office, Multi-Store Managers, Store Managers, store teams and In-Store Visual Merchandisers.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Good IT skills, including Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluency in design software such as Adobe Graphic Suite, CorelDRAW, SketchUp and video editing tools.
- Fluency in English and the local language of the market headquarters.
- Good numeracy, literacy, verbal and written communication skills.
- Geographical mobility.
Requisite Education and Experience
- More than 3–4 years of experience in sales and/or marketing, ideally with a retail focus.
- Industry experience ideally in apparel, fashion, shoes or FMCG.
- Exposure to sports, marketing or account marketing.
- University degree in Fashion or Business with a marketing and sales focus.
