Job description

Crédit Agricole CIB’s Sustainable Banking team, a global leader in Green Bonds, advises clients and business lines on sustainable finance transactions across bonds, loans, securitisation and other asset classes.

Working with different business lines, you will analyse sectors and sustainable finance markets, prepare client materials, and contribute to the structuring of sustainable finance and extra-financial ratings advisory transactions.

Main responsibilities

• Monitor and analyse Green, Social, Sustainability and Sustainability-Linked Bonds, as well as Green and Sustainability-Linked Loans.
• Track recent issuances, update databases and monitor developments concerning the ecological transition, including European regulation, climate and biodiversity research, and ESG controversies.
• Prepare discussion materials and commercial proposals for prospects and clients.
• Analyse projects eligible for sustainable loans and bonds, key performance indicators for Sustainability-Linked transactions, and sector-specific ESG factors.
• Contribute to Green and Sustainability Financing Frameworks, Second Party Opinions, investor presentations and impact reporting.
• Model extra-financial ratings and prepare key recommendations.

Training and skills

You are studying at a university, IEP, business school or engineering school, with a strong interest in socially responsible investment, sustainable development or the environment. A first experience in finance or sustainable development is appreciated.

• Strong interest in responsible finance, including the European Taxonomy, ICMA/LMA Principles, EU GBS, SFDR, UNEP Finance Initiative and UN SDGs.
• Extra-financial analysis skills and knowledge of financial markets.
• Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
• Fluent French and English.
• Analytical mindset, rigour, autonomy and initiative.
