Summary

Participate in the execution and management of existing transactions and assist with implementing new transactions funded through the Asset Backed Commercial Paper conduit and the bank’s balance sheet.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare credit analyses, including financial modelling of underlying portfolio performance across asset classes such as auto loans and leases, trade receivables, and aircraft leasing.
  • Coordinate the credit process with the Credit Department.
  • Participate in the structuring and execution of securitization transactions funded in the term Asset Backed Security or Asset Backed Commercial Paper markets.
  • Negotiate and liaise on key terms with clients, lawyers, other banks, and other external parties.
  • Monitor transaction performance trends and alert the Transaction Manager to covenant compliance issues.
  • Prepare cash flow models, confirm rating attachment, and maintain and audit client models.
  • Prepare client presentations and pitch books.
  • Participate in on-site due diligence reviews, client visits, and special projects.
  • Coordinate and execute transaction booking processes.

Contacts and Systems

Report to the Transaction Managers and develop relationships with internal peers, clients, law firms, other banks, rating agencies, and auditors. Internal systems include Microsoft Office, SIS, Phidias, ClientLive, Risk Portal, and Galaxy. External systems include Bloomberg, rating agency websites, and EDGAR.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; postgraduate education is a plus.
  • Series 7, 79, and 63 are a plus.
  • Experience in a banking environment, including client transactions and presenting credit applications or proposals.
  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years of securitization experience; minimum experience level of 0–2 years.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including VBA and Access.
  • Strong presentation, writing, time-management, teamwork, and international collaboration skills.
  • Fluent English required; French fluency is desirable.
  • Cash-flow modelling, programming, corporate banking, credit products, and funding-alternative knowledge are desirable.

Comply with applicable legal, regulatory, and internal compliance requirements, including financial security, financial crime, fraud prevention, and mandatory training obligations.
