Tasks
Business Planning for PC and VAN Aftersales
- Steer Mercedes-Benz Aftersales business planning and performance management.
- Define annual parts targets based on car parc development, service capacity, and strategic retail performance indicators.
- Steer NRCP planning within the MBBP cycle and deliver monthly forecasts and quarterly updates.
- Plan network capacity based on productivity, efficiency, customer retention, and workforce requirements.
- Forecast retail revenue across customer pay, maintenance, warranty, and accident business.
- Forecast partners’ parts inventory requirements in alignment with retail performance and NRCP development.
- Generate market intelligence and translate insights into actionable business measures.
- Monitor wholesale performance and derive business direction to support retail target achievement.
- Evaluate and forecast service capacity and co-develop future-oriented network formats.
- Drive continuous improvement of retail service processes, retail HR professionalization, and performance indicators.
- Steer retail profitability analysis, consulting activities, and profitability improvement measures.
- Provide management with market intelligence and operational insights for fact-based decisions.
Parts Trading
- Coach and consult dealers on the Parts Trading business.
- Encourage non-participating dealers to join the program.
- Set coaching schedules and content based on gap analysis and coaching results.
- Conduct sales force training and best-practice workshops.
- Visit dealers and meet dealer management to follow up on implementation and business goals.
- Identify dealer-specific implementation issues and business potential.
- Conduct dealer and customer visits to identify market requirements and trends.
- Monitor Mercedes-Benz and competitor parts pricing and activities.
- Define strategic actions based on market research, business analysis, and dealer feedback.
- Analyze performance and report market potential and required actions to management.
Reporting
- Ensure strategic alignment with HQ and dealer management on Aftersales priorities.
- Prepare business performance reports for management and HQ.
- Provide market intelligence and operational updates to dealer and MBK management.
- Develop short- and mid-term parts retail sales and promotion plans.
- Define strategic responses to market dynamics and communicate business implications.
- Recommend Aftersales measures in response to market developments, regulations, and customer expectations.
Mobile Service
- Steer Mobile Service business development and operational performance.
- Develop the Mobile Service vehicle strategy and support measures.
- Monitor daily, monthly, and annual Mobile Service performance.
- Develop customer access channels and support business cases for new opportunities.
- Report regularly and align with HQ on execution and governance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Business Administration, Automotive Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least five years of relevant experience in the automotive industry, Aftersales business, or market research.
- Premium automotive experience is advantageous.
- Experience in service center operations, retail process consulting, or network performance management is preferred.
- Strong understanding of automotive Aftersales, retail operations, and network performance management.
- Strong analytical capabilities and proficiency in management systems, including IMS and DMS such as Autoline.
- Business-level English communication skills.
