Job Overview
The Advisor, IT Business Partner (Mobility & Asset Management) oversees end-user asset lifecycle management and mobile service/device strategy. The role manages devices and assets, including procurement, tracking and retirement; coordinates mobile-service providers and vendors; and supports users with reliable, secure IT mobility solutions.
Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end IT asset management, including inventory, procurement, deployment, maintenance and retirement of end-user devices.
- Maintain accurate and compliant asset records and manage disposal according to corporate security and environmental guidelines.
- Develop and maintain mobile-services strategies for phones, tablets and other devices.
- Monitor mobile-device usage, data security and compliance, and work with IT teams on MDM, ABM, security policies and remote support.
- Manage service and technology providers, review contracts and SLAs, monitor performance and drive improvements.
- Serve as the escalation point for provider-related issues and the primary contact for end-user mobility and asset questions.
- Provide timely support and training on new devices and services.
- Identify process improvements, automation initiatives and digital-transformation opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited school, with an emphasis on business, technology or a related field.
- Five or more years of experience with strong qualifications in relevant technical, project-management and professional skills.
- Advanced knowledge of IT technologies and architectures, mobile-device management, AV systems, IT security, call accounting and billing management.
- Experience managing Mobile Services projects and transforming business objectives into technical deliverables.
- Leadership, consulting, analytical, communication and problem-solving skills, including VIP support experience.
- Relevant IT support, mobile-device management or AV certifications are desirable.
Additional Information
Requires comprehensive knowledge of wireless products and accessories, iOS, Windows, Microsoft Office, Intune and related software. The role requires flexible hours, holiday and weekend work when needed, and domestic and international travel.
