ADAS Algorithm Engineer - Lateral Control 智驾横向控制算法工程师

Tasks

• Develop, integrate and validate methods and algorithms with a strong focus on vehicle control for driving and active safety features.
• Develop vehicle control algorithms from planned trajectory to chassis control interface for series products.
• Establish and continuously improve a data-driven development framework for iterative control-system improvement.
• Define and maintain chassis actuator functional and performance requirements, including front- and rear-steering systems.
• Analyze and resolve actuator-related track and driving issues while coordinating cross-functional stakeholders.
• Cooperate with internal and external algorithm experts in China and Germany on automated driving and driver assistance systems.
• Work with the onsite project team, German counterpart teams and suppliers on autonomous-driving system requirements.

Qualifications

Education: Master’s degree in vehicle engineering, robotics, electrical engineering or a related field.

Experience: Industrial experience in robotics or ADAS/AD software development; experience developing ADAS functions; knowledge and development experience with MPC, LQR, PID and other autonomous-driving control algorithms; basic knowledge of state-of-the-art planning; hands-on experience with AD platforms such as ROS, Autoware or Apollo; and practical Linux/QNX software-engineering knowledge is preferred.

Specific knowledge: Native Chinese and fluent English; German is beneficial. Strong C++ and scripting-language skills, including Python; experience with source-code management, unit testing, code review and issue-tracking systems; experience with ADAS chassis-control interfaces such as ESP and EPS; intercultural competence and communication skills; an independent and proactive working style; and willingness to travel in China and abroad for system testing.
