Tasks
- Create technical specifications for low-voltage wiring harnesses and sub-components.
- Develop low-voltage wiring harnesses, including electrical schematic diagrams, layout designs, and 3D/2D drawings.
- Lead wiring harness routing, fixation evaluation, and routing simulation activities.
- Lead power distribution and ground layout, and fulfill bus-system requirements such as network performance and EMC.
- Coordinate cross-department packaging solutions.
- Lead wiring harness verification, testing, and function release.
- Lead modularization to fulfill KSK requirements.
- Create development time plans based on project requirements.
- Cooperate with RD teams in Germany and India as part of the global development network.
- Manage engineering changes and documentation, supplier activities, and assembly tryout support for the plant.
- Support supplier audits and nomination.
- Work with project management, packaging, cross-functional, purchasing, quality, supplier, and plant teams to ensure development timelines and maturity.
- Provide troubleshooting support across development, quality, CAPA, and aftersales.
- Support low-voltage wiring harness localization and component deep localization.
- Contribute to VAVE and innovation.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree or above in automotive engineering, electrical engineering, or a similar field.
Experience:
- Native Chinese speaker with fluent English; German is beneficial.
- Graduates with initial automotive-industry experience, such as internships, or applicants with at least three years of low-voltage wiring harness development experience at OEMs or suppliers.
- Familiarity with low-voltage wiring harness development, validation, and release processes.
- Experience with schematic diagram design, layout design, and 3D/2D drawing creation.
- Knowledge of power distribution, ground layout, and bus-system requirements including network performance and EMC.
- Knowledge of wiring harness protection, fixation, connection technologies, and sub-component selection.
- Familiarity with KSK processes and modularization experience.
- Ability to use 3D/2D tools such as NX and E3 Cable.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
