Join an innovative and motivated team shaping the future of digital project and planning management for vehicle development. You will gain insight into company-wide decision-making processes, digital demand and change management, and modern agile methods in the development environment of Mercedes-Benz.
The team offers a working student position from September 2026 in the Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MB.OS) Demand & Change Management team. The team provides the JIRA project management platform for Research & Development areas at Mercedes-Benz Cars & Vans and coordinates topics related to the Digital Twin RD and digital vehicle development.
- Independently implement small projects in Data Science & AI and support the introduction of a cross-departmental AI strategy.
- Coordinate the weekly planning of upcoming topics for project leadership meetings.
- Support the team with weekly JIRA analyses to identify delayed demands before upcoming demand freezes.
- Identify relevant contacts and manage participants for demand screenings.
- Perform data analyses and create management dashboards using Eazy-BI and Power BI.
- Support the preparation of PI Planning in the SAFe context and review relevant epics and stories.
Qualifications
- Studies in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering, computer science, business informatics, or a comparable field.
- Fluent German and English, both written and spoken.
- Commitment, teamwork, analytical and strategic thinking, communication skills, and a strong ability to grasp new concepts.
- Affinity for data analysis, reporting, and visualization, such as JIRA, Power BI, and Eazy BI, with willingness to learn new tools.
- Knowledge of Data Science and AI or programming skills is advantageous.

- Duration: at least 6 months.
- Working time: at least 10 hours per week.
- Start date: September 2026.
- Extension may be possible by mutual agreement.
- Hybrid work may be possible.
