Tasks

Mercedes-Benz Cars Procurement & Supplier Quality is responsible for a multibillion-euro annual purchasing volume and the purchased-part quality of all vehicles. The Software & Semiconductor Contract Management team provides legal advice, negotiates contracts and supports semiconductor and software procurement assurance agreements.

• Support with contractual legal issues relating to securing semiconductor components and the procurement or development commissioning of control units
• Support legal advice for specialist procurement and capacity management
• Conduct legal research on specific procurement-related questions
• Create PowerPoint presentations and support workshops
• Create training materials and conduct training sessions within departments
• Coordinate with specialist procurement and capacity management

Qualifications

• Degree in business law, law or a comparable course of study
• Confident written and spoken German and English
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Commitment and ability to work in a team
• Communication and presentation skills
• Analytical and strategic way of working
