Tasks

Mercedes-Benz offers an exciting and varied working student position in measurement technology development and prototype construction for highly automated prototype vehicles. The team develops the architecture and measurement technology for the next generation of driver assistance systems and is responsible for the initial construction of development and prototype vehicles for testing highly automated driving functions.

• Support the team with organizational, administrative and project-related tasks
• Maintain and prepare overviews, requirements lists and project documents
• Create, maintain and structure technical documentation and presentations
• Support the planning, coordination and tracking of work packages
• Assist with status reports, analyses and decision templates
• Coordinate with internal departments and project partners
• Support the organization, execution and improvement of internal team topics and processes
• Take on independent tasks and small projects related to measurement technology, vehicle architecture and prototype construction

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering, natural sciences or business administration, such as industrial engineering, automotive engineering, computer science, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable field
• Structured and independent working style
• Confident use of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
• Strong communication skills and enjoyment of working in interdisciplinary teams
• Analytical thinking and a high willingness to learn
• Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken
• Initiative, reliability and team spirit
