Visual Merchandising Manager

As a Visual Merchandising Manager at Primark, you will serve as the creative representative for visual presentation within the store and across the business, partnering with store teams and the Regional VM Manager.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage the visual proposition across the store and lead and develop a high-performing visual merchandising team.
  • Collaborate with the Store Management team to deliver impactful visual displays that exceed customer expectations and maximize sales.
  • Coach and consult with colleagues to deliver an inspiring visual proposition aligned with Primark’s visual merchandising standards.
  • Understand customer needs, shopping habits, and fashion preferences, and reflect current trends through product presentations, window styling, and mannequin styling.
  • Manage and oversee the launch of new visual merchandising campaigns, providing direction and inspiration to the visual merchandising team.
  • Share and coach on best practices and principles that create visual displays influencing the customer journey.
  • Hire, train, coach, and motivate a team of Visual Merchandisers.
  • Ensure adherence to operating standards, stock-related cost controls, and Primark guidelines on POS and pricing for displays.

  • At least four years of prior experience in a Visual Merchandising Manager role managing a team with a high-volume retailer.

  • Leadership skills with the ability to motivate, inspire, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Excellent creative skills and knowledge of fashion trends and commercial awareness.
  • Strong people, communication, consultation, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience delivering excellent customer experiences while maintaining high retail standards.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English with managers, colleagues, and customers.
