Role: Project Coordination Engineer – Product Development
As a VAN LCM PLE Coordinator, you will support product development project execution through milestone, KPI, risk, change management, stakeholder coordination, reporting, and governance activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Track monthly KPIs and digital maturity status using agreed templates and reporting formats.
- Analyze weekly RFG reports and highlight risks, deviations, and improvement areas.
- Represent the department in gremiums, technical meetings, and cross-functional project discussions.
- Ensure part readiness for builds in line with project milestones and delivery timelines.
- Track change notices and change requests and follow up with affected stakeholders.
- Coordinate with logistics, product planning, suppliers, development, simulation, and other functions.
- Maintain documentation, tracking, and governance of project-related processes.
- Support stakeholder management and create processes based on project requirements.
- Communicate project progress, risks, escalations, and key updates to project coordinators and management.
- Conduct project Reko meetings and facilitate decisions on engineering changes.
- Support product tag-related activities and obtain countermeasures for mishaps, deviations, and project risks.
Required Skills and Experience
- Understanding of automotive product development and project coordination processes.
- Experience tracking project milestones, KPIs, risks, change notices, and deliverables.
- Knowledge of engineering change management and decision-making processes.
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage stakeholders.
- Strong documentation, reporting, analytical, communication, and process-tracking skills.
- Ability to identify risks, deviations, and countermeasures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, B.E. / B.Tech.
- Experience in automotive product development, project management, or engineering coordination is preferred.
- Exposure to vehicle development milestones, build readiness, engineering change processes, global stakeholders, suppliers, and project governance is advantageous.
