Tasks

• Conduct occupational medical fitness examinations.
• Perform screening examinations.
• Provide medical advice, patient care and follow-up care.
• Participate in occupational health and occupational hygiene inspections and cooperate with related departments.
• Support health-related risk assessments of workplaces and work areas, analyse the effects of work on health, help create and maintain a healthy working environment, and apply ergonomic principles.
• Prepare evaluations, summaries, presentations and reports based on examination results.
• Prepare employees travelling to foreign sites from a health perspective.
• Administer vaccinations.
• Support investigations of occupational accidents and occupational illnesses, develop recommendations and cooperate with related departments.
• Provide medical support for integration and reintegration, including contributing to rehabilitation plans for employees returning after illness or with reduced work capacity.
• Participate in Health Service projects and actively support the health strategy, including developing, introducing and operating new processes and concepts.

Qualifications

• General medical degree and specialist qualification in occupational medicine required.
• Occupational health experience is an advantage.
• Valid professional registration.
• German language skills are an advantage; willingness to learn the language is required.
• MS Office knowledge.
