Trainee - Global Markets Division (Foreign Exchange and Interest Rates)

Job description

Responsibilities & Duties:

• Assist the Sales/Trading Desk in pricing financial markets products such as Foreign Exchange Spot, Foreign Exchange Swaps, Foreign Exchange Forwards, Currency Options and Derivatives, using Bloomberg, Reuters Eikon and other financial product pricers.
• Assist the desk in monitoring risk against regulatory and internal limits.
• Generate daily MIS and regular reporting for the desk.
• Assist the desk in capturing trades in front-office systems, which may involve different booking systems.
• Manage the dealing pad and reconcile deals with front-office systems.
• Assist the desk in communicating with financial intermediaries and clients.
• Assist Desk Heads and the Department Head with specific projects, marketing efforts such as presentations and pitch books, and analysis of financial and economic data.
• Assist Desk Heads with internal memos, product papers and pricing models.
• Liaise with internal teams including Middle Office, Back Office, Coverage and Trade regarding desk requirements.

Starting date: 15/10/2026

Minimum level of study: Postgraduate degree – MA/MSc/PhD/Doctorate or equivalent

Training / Specialization: Management degree in Finance/CA or equivalent.

Minimum experience level: 0–2 years of financial markets experience

• Required: MS Office, including Advanced Excel, Advanced Presentation and Word
