TEST ENGINEER with German

Day-to-day responsibilities include

• Analyzing requirements and business scenarios or user stories, providing feedback to Business Analysts, and clarifying gaps and discrepancies.
• Creating test scenarios and test cases, including test data and expected results, based on documentation available in German.
• Mapping test cases against project requirements.
• Executing tests, recording actual results, and comparing them with expected results.
• Maintaining test scenarios during process changes.
• Raising defects and conducting root cause analysis when needed in cooperation with the development team and Business Analysts, including triage meetings.
• Re-testing defect resolutions.
• Supporting users performing UAT.
• Participating in meetings with end customers and presenting solutions through demos.

Required skills

• Effective German communication at B2/C1 level.
• English at minimum B1 level.
• At least 2 years of documented software testing experience.
• Good knowledge of software testing methodologies and SDLC.
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, X-Ray, Zephyr, or Azure DevOps.
• Fundamentals of SQL.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and an open approach to people.
• Willingness to take initiative and responsibility.
• Good organization and attention to detail.

Nice-to-have skills

• ISTQB Foundation course or certificate.
• Knowledge of REST and SOAP API testing using SOAP UI, Postman, or another tool.
• Experience with SAP or SAP testing.
• Basic experience with test automation, especially Tosca Tricentis.

Recruitment process

1. Initial conversation with Recruiter or HR, including a German check.
2. Interview with the Manager via Microsoft Teams in English or Polish.
3. Second interview with the Project team via Microsoft Teams in German or English.
4. Feedback within 1–7 business days after the interview.
