Day-to-day responsibilities include
- Analyzing requirements and business scenarios or user stories, providing feedback to Business Analysts, and clarifying gaps and discrepancies.
- Creating test scenarios and test cases, including test data and expected results, based on documentation available in German.
- Mapping test cases against project requirements.
- Executing tests, recording actual results, and comparing them with expected results.
- Maintaining test scenarios during process changes.
- Raising defects and conducting root cause analysis when needed in cooperation with the development team and Business Analysts, including triage meetings.
- Re-testing defect resolutions.
- Supporting users performing UAT.
- Participating in meetings with end customers and presenting solutions through demos.
Required skills
- Effective German communication at B2/C1 level.
- English at minimum B1 level.
- At least 2 years of documented software testing experience.
- Good knowledge of software testing methodologies and SDLC.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, X-Ray, Zephyr, or Azure DevOps.
- Fundamentals of SQL.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and an open approach to people.
- Willingness to take initiative and responsibility.
- Good organization and attention to detail.
Nice-to-have skills
- ISTQB Foundation course or certificate.
- Knowledge of REST and SOAP API testing using SOAP UI, Postman, or another tool.
- Experience with SAP or SAP testing.
- Basic experience with test automation, especially Tosca Tricentis.
Recruitment process
- Initial conversation with Recruiter or HR, including a German check.
- Interview with the Manager via Microsoft Teams in English or Polish.
- Second interview with the Project team via Microsoft Teams in German or English.
- Feedback within 1–7 business days after the interview.
