We are looking for a Test Automation Expert (m/f) for our location in Osijek to join our new team.
Key Responsibilities
- Test Android, iOS, and web applications as part of a mission-critical communications development team.
- Collaborate with developers to identify, reproduce, and resolve bugs.
- Create test plans and test cases based on user requirements.
- Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing.
- Automate tests using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Appium, or JMeter.
- Contribute to CI/CD setup and test automation pipelines in Jenkins.
- Ensure accurate documentation and maintain test artifacts.
Responsibilities
Design: Review requirements and user stories to define test scenarios, prepare structured test plans and test cases, and contribute to acceptance criteria.
Execution: Execute manual and automated tests across Android, iOS, and web platforms. Maintain automated test scripts, support test environment setup and CI/CD test execution, and use Azure DevOps, Jira, and OpenProject for tracking work and defects.
Quality Assurance and Reporting: Report, track, and document defects. Participate in regression testing and release validation, provide input on quality metrics, and maintain testing documentation.
Team and Process Participation: Work collaboratively within an agile, international team, participate in Scrum ceremonies, share knowledge, and support continuous improvement of QA practices.
Requirements
- Technical or computer science background.
- 2–5 years of experience in software testing.
- Basic knowledge of at least one programming language, such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Basic Linux scripting skills with Bash.
- Experience with test automation tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Appium, or JMeter is preferable.
- Understanding of CI/CD, preferably Jenkins-based pipelines.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Jira, or OpenProject.
- Good understanding of the software development lifecycle.
- ISTQB certification is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in English; French or German is a plus.
- Strong teamwork, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
