What You’ll Do as a Technology Finance Administrator

  • Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of Technology cost management processes and ways of working.
  • Manage and maintain the Technology purchase order requisition process, including documentation, cost centres, and project codes.
  • Oversee cost tracking activities in SoftCo, including purchase order creation, accruals, ageing items, and period-end processes.
  • Ensure accurate purchase order management by working with teams to review reports, close fully utilised purchase orders, and resolve invoicing issues.
  • Act as a key contact for stakeholders, coordinating communication, managing the cost management mailbox, and collaborating with Finance and Procurement.
  • Support vendor onboarding via Zip, training initiatives, and opportunities for continuous process improvement.

What You’ll Bring

  • 1–2 years of experience in administrative, finance, procurement, or vendor management roles, with strong analytical capabilities to identify trends, variances, and issues in financial data.
  • High accuracy and attention to detail, with confidence handling and analysing large datasets.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build stakeholder relationships and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a proactive, professional team-player approach, including the confidence to appropriately challenge stakeholders when needed.
  • Advanced IT proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint. Working knowledge of ERP or financial systems such as Oracle or SoftCo is advantageous.
  • Highly organised, self-motivated, and detail-oriented, with a focus on process improvement, prioritisation, and operational efficiency in fast-paced environments.
