As the Technical Operator, you’ll approach the canning line with a lean mindset and positive attitude. We need motivated self-starters who will be proactive in taking ownership of their area.

Core responsibilities

  • Ensure the running of high-speed packaging machinery efficiently, effectively and safely.
  • Perform quality checks and take swift corrective actions.
  • Manage stock levels accurately using SAP.
  • Use process knowledge to identify root causes of problems and prevent recurrence.
  • Actively contribute to a Zero Accident Culture by delivering high standards of cleanliness and reliability on the production plant.
  • Deliver FTR (First Time Right) on quality and process.
  • Help drive continuous improvement through the Total Productive Management (TPM) programme.

About the team

As a Supply Chain colleague, you’ll be part of HEINEKEN UK’s largest function, producing high-quality beers and ciders while prioritising safety, sustainability and innovation. You’ll be based within the packaging team, helping keep bottling, canning and other lines running smoothly and efficiently.

Who we’re looking for

We’re seeking an individual familiar with working in a production facility or an automated manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Exposure to machinery within an FMCG environment.
  • Previous experience operating, cleaning and maintaining equipment in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using SAP or ERP software for inventory management.
  • Familiarity with TPM principles and implementing or introducing process improvements.

HEINEKEN UK offers a permanent contract, a Panama shift pattern, a salary of £32,099 per annum with a shift allowance of £9,299, and benefits including an annual bonus, double-matched pension, annual leave, life assurance, free ciders and beers, retail discounts and wellbeing support.
