Job Description
Position Summary
The Tech Lead is responsible for leading a cross-functional engineering team to deliver high-performing, scalable, and reliable systems. This role provides technical leadership across software development, platform reliability, cloud-native architectures, observability, and performance engineering, ensuring alignment with business goals and Agile delivery practices.
The ideal candidate combines strong software engineering expertise, particularly in C#/.NET and Golang, with experience designing and operating distributed systems in cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Solution Architecture
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams on system design, architecture, and development best practices.
- Define and validate technical solutions considering scalability, reliability, maintainability, and performance.
- Lead technical decision-making and support the resolution of complex production and platform issues.
- Promote engineering excellence through clean code practices, design patterns, code reviews, and architectural standards.
- Drive the adoption of modern architectures, including microservices and cloud-native solutions.
Performance Engineering & Platform Reliability
- Establish and evolve performance engineering practices to proactively identify system bottlenecks and optimize scalability.
- Ensure systems meet defined performance SLAs, KPIs, and reliability objectives.
- Support the implementation of load testing, monitoring, and observability practices across the software lifecycle.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve application performance and operational stability.
Cloud, Infrastructure & CI/CD
- Guide the implementation and optimization of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation practices.
- Support cloud-native deployments and containerized environments.
- Collaborate with platform and operations teams to ensure resilient, scalable, and secure environments.
- Promote DevOps and automation practices across the engineering organization.
Agile Delivery & Team Development
- Partner with Scrum Masters, TPMs, Product Managers, and stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of initiatives.
- Establish KPIs, dashboards, and continuous improvement processes.
- Mentor engineers and foster a culture of collaboration, ownership, innovation, and continuous learning.
Required Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Strong software development experience with C#/.NET and Golang.
- Experience designing and building microservices-based architectures.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and distributed systems.
- Experience working with at least one major cloud platform: Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Experience working with containerized environments and Kubernetes platforms such as AKS, EKS, GKE, or similar.
- Strong troubleshooting, system design, and technical leadership capabilities.
Leadership Skills
- Experience leading engineering teams in Agile environments.
- Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience mentoring engineers and driving technical excellence.
