Tech I, Screenprint

Purpose

This position will lead the production team during the setup and teardown process. While unloading during the run, the Tech will ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the order while communicating with the Operator and Pod Coordinator to troubleshoot issues and avoid downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all order information is correct, including grid information, inks, garments, and print guide.
• Lead the pod coordinator, operator, and inspector during setup and teardown to achieve first-quality signoff using effective time management.
• Set up and run as much product as possible during each shift while minimizing rejects.
• Use tri-loc and all applicable setup standard operating procedures.
• Limit downtime required to complete team tasks.
• Unload garments during the run and identify changes in printing or quality.
• Communicate with the run team and Pod Coordinator to resolve print and ink issues promptly.
• Lead by example and communicate effectively during setup, tear-out, and order runs.
• Communicate changes and identify opportunities involving make-ups, pulling problems, re-shoots, or art issues.
• Follow ink maintenance, controls, and standard operating procedures.
• Keep the work environment neat and clean and sustain 6S.

Essential Functions

• Work in a warehouse or manufacturing environment with noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
• Talk, hear, sit, stand, walk, and use hands, arms, feet, and fingers to reach, feel, handle, grip, grasp, lift, operate, push, pull, bend, and twist for up to 12 hours per day.
• Occasionally climb, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Occasionally lift and carry boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Reliably attend scheduled work hours.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend English.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as required.
