Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization
Ensure the correct and daily execution of key responsibilities in the adidas GBS according to the requirements of the company Accounting Manual for the specific area of responsibility. Act as a general functional expert with responsibility for processes and the delivery of services with your team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the team, including coaching, training, motivation, performance appraisal guidance, and team development.
- Supervise daily operations by adhering to agreed SLAs towards business partners.
- Maintain proactive relationships with business partners and the global functional team.
- Develop and report relevant KPIs for the area of responsibility.
- Ensure KPIs are maintained, achieved, and reported correctly and in a timely manner.
- Generate ideas for process improvements and ensure high-quality, efficient work.
- Analyze problems and propose or assess solutions, including their implementation.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Complete familiarity with Microsoft Office or equivalent tools.
- Solid knowledge of SAP.
- Solid knowledge of Order to Cash-related functions.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English, Spanish, and Portuguese in a business setting.
- Ability to work independently and pay close attention to detail.
- Problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Hands-on, self-motivated, and self-directed approach.
- Good communication and teamwork skills, with strong stakeholder management abilities.
- Experience managing a team at Team Leader level.
Qualifications
- University degree or equivalent experience, preferably in accounting or business.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Direct functional experience in Order to Cash, Credit, and Collections.
- Proven people management experience or demonstrated ability to manage a medium-sized team.
