Team Lead Angular/Python Engineer (with German)

Your client

The client is a large-scale digital transformation initiative within the transportation and infrastructure sector. The project supports critical operational platforms used across a complex international environment and focuses on modernizing business applications, improving user experiences, and enabling cloud-native solutions. You will become part of a cross-functional agile delivery team responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and operating business-critical applications.

Your tasks

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and backend services
• Build modern frontend solutions using Angular and TypeScript
• Develop backend services, APIs, and integrations using Python
• Design and implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms
• Integrate applications with databases and external services
• Contribute to software architecture and technical solution design
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using modern DevOps practices and tools
• Support containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes
• Participate in cloud infrastructure provisioning, automation, and maintenance in AWS environments
• Create and execute unit tests and contribute to end-to-end test automation
• Collaborate within agile teams following Scrum, Kanban, TDD, and engineering best practices
• Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement initiatives

Your profile

• 5+ years of experience in web development
• Strong experience with Angular
• Solid knowledge of TypeScript
• Professional experience with Python development
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs
• Hands-on experience with unit testing and test automation
• Experience working with AWS cloud services
• Knowledge of Git-based development workflows
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tooling
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
• Understanding of secure software development practices
• At least Intermediate+ level of German language
