Capgemini is seeking an experienced Integration & Verification Engineer to support the integration, validation, and deployment of software and system functionalities within next-generation Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) platforms.
The successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end integration, verification, troubleshooting, and release readiness of complex vehicle systems spanning multiple functional domains. Working in a cross-functional environment with architects, developers, product owners, and verification teams, the engineer will ensure that software components and vehicle features are successfully integrated, validated, and released with the highest quality standards.
This role requires strong experience in automotive software integration, vehicle communication networks, verification methodologies, and system-level debugging. Experience in heavy vehicles will be a plus.
Your responsibilities
- Integrate software across vehicle domains and manage integration, validation, baselines, configurations, and build releases.
- Troubleshoot software, communication, and integration issues across ECUs and domains, driving root cause resolution in various environments, including HIL/SIL, proving grounds, and public roads.
- Perform and monitor vehicle tests.
- Manage interfaces, variants, configurations, baselines, flashing, deployment, and release alignment with verification environments.
- Identify, document, and report deviations and system issues.
- Support troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvements.
Your profile
- 5+ years of experience in automotive software integration, verification, or system testing.
- Experience working with software-defined vehicle platforms or centralized vehicle architectures.
- Experience integrating software across multiple vehicle domains.
- Experience from truck, automotive, off-highway, or mobility industries.
- A C driver's license is an added advantage.
- Previous experience working within Volvo Group, Volvo Cars, or other automotive OEM environments is highly valued.
