Reporting to the Global Head of Talent Acquisition, the Talent Acquisition Lead - US leads a high-performing team of Talent Acquisition and Resourcing professionals. The role provides strategic direction, operational leadership and coaching while partnering with Global Business Services and other delivery partners to ensure effective end-to-end recruitment outcomes.
You will shape and drive the recruitment strategy for retail management, new store volume recruitment and central functions roles within the US, while partnering with retail and GBS on the strategy for retail hourly recruitment.
What you'll do
- Lead Talent Acquisition across the market, translating Primark's global TA strategy into local priorities.
- Inspire, coach and develop a high-performing TA leadership team.
- Partner with senior business and People & Culture leaders on workforce planning and hiring decisions.
- Drive a data-led approach to recruitment, building talent pipelines and using market insights.
- Lead recruitment delivery through a blended operating model involving in-market teams, GBS and external partners.
- Champion an exceptional candidate experience and Primark's employer brand.
- Embed global TA processes, technology and best practices while driving continuous improvement.
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and position Talent Acquisition as a strategic business partner.
- Oversee recruitment partners, budgets and governance.
What you'll bring
- Significant experience leading Talent Acquisition in a large, fast-paced, high-growth or high-volume environment.
- Experience leading and developing high-performing Talent Acquisition teams.
- Success developing and executing talent acquisition strategies aligned with business priorities and workforce plans.
- Experience with a Global Business Services, RPO or other blended recruitment operating model.
- A strong commercial and analytical mindset.
- Experience partnering with senior business leaders across complex, matrixed organisations.
- Proven ability to lead change and drive continuous improvement.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A collaborative leadership style and experience working across functions.
- A strong understanding of recruitment governance, employment practices and candidate experience.
- High integrity, sound judgement and professionalism, with a passion for developing people and creating inclusive teams.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed for market visits, conferences and internal meetings, approximately 25% of the time.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience preferred.
