Job Description
As a Structural Analysis Engineer (d/f/m), you will develop stress methods and tools and perform structural analyses for aerospace structures.
- Develop, improve and validate stress methods.
- Contribute to all stages of the software development life cycle for existing and new tools, including code development, adaptation, maintenance, verification and validation.
- Provide continuous support to stress teams regarding stress methods and software.
- Perform project work related to structural analysis, including stress analysis, overall aircraft sizing and Multi-Disciplinary Optimisation (MDO).
- Interact with international structural analysis teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or an equivalent field.
- Experience in structural analysis using non-numerical or handbook methods.
- Mandatory experience in FEM analysis.
- Programming skills in Python and C++; FORTRAN is desirable.
- Familiarity with agile software development.
- Understanding of applying AI methods in software development is advantageous.
- Advanced German and English skills, including the ability to prepare technical documentation in English.
- Proactive and positive teamwork attitude in a transnational environment.
