Who You’ll Work With

The Stores Location Planner will be part of the Demand and Supply Management team, reporting directly to the Director of Nike Direct Stores Planning. The role works closely with the Merchandise Financial Planner, Allocations team, and In Season Analyst on a weekly, monthly, and seasonal basis.

You will build strong partnerships with cross-functional teams across Marketplace Operations, Brand, and VM, and lead communications to Stores and Retail Teams to ensure seasonal promotional plans are maximized to deliver financial goals.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for a Location Planner/Junior Planner to build and deliver sales and inventory plans for Nike Value Stores and Company Store, with the goal of achieving sales and managing capacity levels during peak consumer moments.

The successful candidate can forecast with agility, execute promotional plans to achieve sales budgets, act quickly with an analytical and data-driven mindset, and lead clear communications across cross-functional teams.

  • 1–2 years or more of retail planning experience in a vertical retail business or similar, including store forecasting and promotional planning.
  • Strong understanding of financial metrics, retail KPIs, and product and inventory planning, with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, sales, retail, supply chain, economics, or a related field highly desired.
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management experience, with confidence engaging multiple cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated skills using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Just Enough or other planning software is highly desirable.
  • Ability to drive innovation and action by stimulating discussion, generating ideas, actively listening, and producing outcomes.

What You’ll Work On

  • Lead planning-direction communications to Store Head Coaches and Regional District Managers.
  • Work with the Merchandise Financial Planner to align on in-season and pre-season forecasts at store level.
  • Forecast and deliver sales and inventory plans by managing capacity and stock receipts into stores to maximize sales and mitigate over- and under-capacity risks.
  • Manage the setup and communication of store promotions with Stores and the Nike Direct Marketing and VM teams.
  • Initiate tactical promotions to mitigate sales loss or capacity risk.
  • Produce and analyze weekly trade reports to identify gaps and opportunities, drive actions, and track traffic, sales, units, capacity, and conversion-rate KPIs.
  • Work with the Merchandise Financial Planner and Allocators to plan and execute store plans, and with the In Season Analyst to identify promotions based on current or future high stock levels.
  • Act as the primary Demand and Supply Management partner for door openings and closures and represent planning in real estate meetings.
  • Forecast de-stocking and load-ins based on key dates, CC counts, capacity, and forecasted plans.
  • Create store fixture and capacity calculations during pre-season planning to inform store product investment.
