In-Store Visual Merchandising Specialist - Access Park Kenilworth

Purpose and overall relevance for the organization
Contribute to meeting or exceeding store sales and profit targets by ensuring the efficient and effective implementation of the global visual merchandising direction in the assigned store.
Key responsibilities
- Communication: Cascade information from the Regional VM Manager to the Store Manager and store staff through training and meetings. Participate in team meetings and huddles, review stock deliveries and retail KPIs, and provide feedback on store needs.
- Merchandising display: Ensure compliance with global standards and guidelines, maintain windows and mannequins, create clear shop-in-shops, position in-store communication tools and props, apply retail standards, conduct daily audits, submit monthly VM compliance reports, and update weekly space management floor plans and fixture allocations.
- Lead campaign changes during night shifts and lead store staff by example by organizing their work time and tasks.
- In-store VM training: Train co-workers on global visual merchandising standards, folding techniques, hanger types, size order and size curves, steaming, merchandise presentation, size cubes and stickers, wall configuration, and enhancing the consumer journey.
- VM reporting: Monitor competitor activity and fashion trends, communicate information to the Market VM Manager, and identify store needs for fixtures and in-store communication tools.
- Equipment control: Return and store unused fixtures, mannequins, props and graphic frames correctly; manage equipment carefully; follow health and safety requirements; and maintain a VM corner in the back of house.
- Customer service and operational tasks: Meet brand customer service standards, act as a brand ambassador, use seasonal brand and product knowledge, communicate product benefits, minimize loss, perform store operations safely and efficiently, collaborate with colleagues, complete training, and seek coaching and learning opportunities.

Minimum qualifications
- Matric certification
- 2–3 years of visual merchandising experience in a retail environment
