Store Manager - NEW Factory Outlet in Salisbury, Adelaide

Are you excited by the prospect of opening a brand new store and being a part of adidas' retail expansion in Australia?

We're looking for an experienced Store Manager who maintains high standards of themselves and their staff to drive excellence in our new Factory Outlet located in Salisbury Downs, Adelaide.

The ideal candidate must be able to confidently present themselves and their store to a high standard and work efficiently to support a wide variety of customers and key stakeholders. Retail leaders are expected to lead from the front and inspire success in all areas of people management and store management.

Responsibilities

• Manage, motivate and lead the team to achieve KPIs, sales targets and an exceptional customer experience.
• Take full ownership of the store and its commercial success, ensuring the team understands store performance results, data, objectives and action plans.
• Analyse relevant data to probe and challenge the status quo.
• Address improvement areas to maximise commercial impact, involving the District Manager or other Retail Back Office partners as needed.
• Drive continuous improvements in the store's sales, productivity and profitability.
• Lead service by example, maximising time spent selling and leading the team on the sales floor.
• Identify and develop strong performers with potential for growth along the Retail Field Career Ladder.
• Conduct staff training and coaching to drive KPI performance and brand knowledge.
• Manage all retail operations within the store, empowering team contribution and skills.
• Coordinate the team to maintain Visual Merchandising and In-Store Communication standards.
• Coordinate efficient inventory processing and a seamless stock-to-floor process.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and brand partners to ensure adequate department support at store level.

The successful candidate

You will have a commercial mindset and strong retail background with a proven track record of success in a similar retail leadership position, consistently leading a team to achieve budgeted sales. You will be motivated, energetic, results-driven and passionate about people and product.

You will be confident working in a fast-paced, high-exposure concept store, leading store walk-throughs and liaising with brand leaders and stakeholders.

Retail Store Manager experience representing a men's or women's global brand, preferably in sports, would be desirable. Experience driving operational excellence and mentoring a team to succeed is highly regarded.
