We're looking for an experienced retail leader who maintains high standards of themselves and their staff to drive excellence in our Manawa Bay Factory Outlet in Auckland, NZ.
The ideal candidate must be able to confidently present themselves and their store to a high standard and work efficiently to support a wide variety of customers and key stakeholders.
Responsibilities include
- Manage, motivate and lead the team to achieve KPIs, sales targets and an exceptional customer experience.
- Take full ownership of the store and its commercial success, ensuring the team understands store performance results, data, objectives and action plans.
- Analyze relevant data to probe and challenge the status quo.
- Address identified improvement areas to maximize commercial impact, involving the District Manager or other Retail Back Office partners as needed.
- Drive continuous improvements in store sales, productivity and profitability.
- Lead service by example, maximizing time spent selling and leading the team on the sales floor.
- Identify and develop strong performers with potential for growth along the Retail Field Career Ladder.
- Conduct staff training and coaching to drive KPI performance and brand knowledge.
- Manage all retail operations within the store while empowering team contribution and skill development.
- Coordinate team members to execute Visual Merchandising and In-Store Communication standards.
- Coordinate efficient inventory processing and a seamless stock-to-floor process.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and brand partners to ensure adequate department support at store level.
The successful candidate
You will have a commercial mindset and strong retail background with a proven track record of success in a similar retail leadership position, consistently leading a team to achieve budgeted sales. You will be motivated, energetic, results-driven and passionate about people and product.
You will also be confident working in a fast-paced, high-exposure concept store, leading store walk-throughs and liaising with brand leaders and stakeholders.
Experience highly regarded
- Retail Store Manager experience representing a men's or women's global brand, preferably in sports.
- Experience leading, coaching and mentoring a team to succeed.
