Responsibilities
You will improve commercial performance and maximize sales through an excellent shopping experience and an attractive store environment. You will analyze the local market for strategic planning and manage stock and resource planning to meet customer expectations.
You will train teams and ensure they are engaged and achieving high performance. You will identify and develop talent at all levels, fostering a culture of learning and celebrating success. You will maintain constant and effective communication with store teams, the Area Manager and Regional Offices, using tools such as performance reviews and engagement surveys.
You will ensure compliance with all policies and procedures, create a safe working culture, and protect people, property and facilities. You will manage controllable costs, identify savings opportunities, and promote Primark Cares' ethical and environmental initiatives.
You will define the store's vision and direction, act as a role model and encourage continuous improvement to achieve strategic objectives.
About you
- Strong leadership and people-management skills.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with colleagues and teams.
- Solid store-management background; experience in high-volume retail and distribution is valued.
- Ability to manage change, train others and drive high performance.
- Proactive decision-maker able to work under pressure, anticipate risks and adapt to change.
- Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to meet agreed deadlines in a large, fast-paced company.
- Geographical mobility is essential.
- University studies in Business Administration, Marketing, Market Research, Commerce and Marketing, an MBA or similar are valued.
- Good English and additional languages, including sign language, are valued.
