Stockroom Specialist

Contribute to meeting or exceeding store sales and profit targets by maintaining an effective and organized stockroom, managing product flow to and from the sales floor, and providing feedback and support to selected team members.

Purpose and impact on the organization

• Be aware of store sales, KPI, and individual performance targets and use available resources to meet or exceed them.
• Prioritize merchandise flow to the sales floor to maximize sales opportunities.
• Complete deliveries quickly and accurately while following stock protection procedures.
• Record and manage inter-store and warehouse inventory movements accurately and promptly.
• Maintain adequate supplies and an effective, clean, and organized stockroom.
• Comply with store policies and procedures to maintain a safe shopping and working environment.
• Identify improvement opportunities and communicate suggestions to store management.
• Guide and train selected store team members on basic stockroom processes.
• Collaborate respectfully with team members and support them when needed.
• Complete applicable training and seek coaching and learning opportunities.

Knowledge, capabilities and experience

• Minimum 6 months of experience in a sports or fashion customer- and commercial-focused retail environment.
• Advanced selling experience and solid product, retail, and industry understanding.
• Basic numeracy and literacy and advanced verbal communication skills.
