Atos is seeking a Staging Center Technician to receive, prepare, configure, test, track, and ship IT equipment and technology assets supporting customer deployments and service operations. The role ensures devices are accurately staged, imaged, inventoried, packaged, and documented while maintaining a secure and organized staging environment.
The technician works with field support teams, project managers, asset management teams, and logistics personnel to deliver technology deployments on time and according to quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure, image, and stage network devices, servers, and peripheral equipment.
- Install operating systems, software applications, security tools, and required updates.
- Validate hardware and software functionality and perform system testing and quality assurance checks.
- Apply asset tags, labels, and customer-specific configurations.
- Receive, inspect, inventory, and track equipment through receipt, deployment, and return.
- Conduct inventory audits, reconcile discrepancies, and support equipment refresh, redeployment, and disposal.
- Prepare deployment kits and shipment packages, coordinate logistics, and maintain chain-of-custody records.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and imaging issues and escalate unresolved problems.
- Assist field technicians with deployment readiness and technical questions.
- Follow staging procedures, work instructions, security requirements, customer contracts, asset management policies, and data protection standards.
- Maintain staging center organization, cleanliness, and safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field preferred; equivalent technical training and experience may be considered.
- 1–3 years of experience in IT support, asset management, deployment services, or warehouse technology operations.
- Experience configuring and deploying Cisco network equipment.
- Experience with inventory tracking systems and asset management processes.
- Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, and LAN connectivity.
- Hardware installation and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of ticketing systems such as ServiceNow.
Preferred Qualifications
- CompTIA A+ certification.
- Experience with ServiceNow, Autopilot, SCCM, or similar endpoint management solutions.
- Knowledge of barcode scanning and inventory technologies.
- Experience supporting large-scale deployment or refresh projects.

Compensation and Benefits
The total compensation range for this role is $54,386.00–$90,000.00 USD.
