Job description
To support our development, we are looking for a colleague to reinforce the Fund Distributor Operations team, primarily responsible for collecting management-fee rebates owed by management companies to fund distributors.
The responsibilities include:
- Managing and monitoring invoicing and collection of rebates for a portfolio of management companies.
- Collecting documents evidencing client assets, including custodian flows and certificates.
- Providing counterparties with the information required to calculate fees on fund liabilities.
- Managing invoicing and collection issues, including reconciliations, error analysis, analysis of counterparty feedback and problem resolution.
- Controlling the rebate scope.
- Validating calculations in accordance with procedures and rigorously monitoring outstanding invoices, applying the escalation process when necessary.
- Participating in the development of the activity, particularly the collection of upfront and ongoing fees on structured products and private assets.
- Ensuring compliance with team and group objectives.
- Keeping promoter records up to date.
- Responding to Relationship Managers' requests.
- Providing backup for FDO Officers during absences.
- Monitoring and dispatching incoming emails in the team mailbox.
- Analysing MIFID amounts to be returned.

An internship agreement provided by the school or university is mandatory.

Education and qualifications
- Higher education in economics or accounting, such as a Master's degree.
- A first experience in an operational department within the investment-fund industry is an advantage.
- Excellent analytical and summarisation skills.
- Fluent French and good command of English.
- Good command of Excel, including pivot tables and advanced filters.
- Knowledge of VBA and/or Python is an advantage.
