Within the Communications Department of Crédit Agricole S.A., the Historical Archives team manages the historical heritage of Crédit Agricole S.A., LCL and Crédit Agricole CIB. Its mission is to preserve and expand the Group's historical archives in all formats, including digital archives; professionally inventory them according to international standards; establish traceable references to defend the Group's rights over the long term; document the history of its strategies, businesses and locations; and communicate and promote this heritage.

Main responsibilities

  • Classification: inventory a residual collection of archives from the Caisse nationale de Crédit Agricole.
  • Iconographic collection: audit the slide collection and manage the digitization of part of the collection, including preparing specifications, liaising with the service provider and quality control.
  • Clean databases using Spark software.

You will also participate in the team's daily activities, including welcoming researchers in the reading room, managing the flow of boxes, conducting research for internal and external requests, and contributing to heritage promotion projects.

You will be supported in your duties by the two members of the Historical Archives team.

Additional information

The company will pay an internship allowance if the internship lasts more than two consecutive months.

Skills

Technical skills: Knowledge of classification and archival analysis principles, as well as international standards (ISAD-G, ISAAR, ISBD).

General skills: Autonomy, writing skills, confidentiality, teamwork and curiosity.

IT tools: Microsoft Office. Knowledge of archival management software such as Mnesys, Arkhéïa, Pléade, Ligéo or Spark Archives, and/or Photoshop, is not required but would be an advantage.

Language: Basic English.
