STAGE - Accountant - Private Equity & Real Estate Solutions H/F

Within the Private Equity & Real Estate Solutions (PERES) department, you will join the Fund Accounting team responsible for the accounting management of clients.

During your internship, you will participate in the following activities:

• Participating in the production of the net asset value (NAV) of alternative investment funds, mainly private equity funds.
• Contributing to fund accounting: recording routine transactions, performing bank reconciliations, calculating provisions, and processing transactions related to investments and investors.
• Entering capital calls, investor distributions and specific fees, including management fees and waterfalls.
• Participating in the audit process and annual closings by preparing documentation and responding to auditors and statutory auditors.
• Contributing to regulatory reporting, particularly reporting to the Central Bank of Luxembourg.
• Helping interpret fund legal documentation and the associated accounting schemes.

Requirements

• Student in accounting or finance at a business school or university.
• Seeking a gap-year or final-year internship.
• Advanced knowledge of accounting and the alternative investment fund environment.
• Rigorous, analytical and team-oriented.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Fluent in French and English.
