Key Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for ServiceNow enhancements and new developments.
• Translate requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional designs.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, and product owners to deliver solutions.
• Conduct workshops, process mapping, and gap analysis.
• Support design reviews, sprint planning, and backlog grooming.
• Ensure adherence to ServiceNow best practices and platform standards.
• Drive UAT planning, execution, and stakeholder sign-off.
• Identify automation and optimization opportunities across processes.
• Act as a single point of contact for functional clarifications during development.

Must-Have Skills

• 5–8 years of Business Analysis experience, with strong ServiceNow platform exposure.
• Hands-on experience in ServiceNow ITSM and at least one of ITOM, CSM, or HRSD.
• Strong understanding of the ServiceNow development lifecycle.
• Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, BRDs, FRDs, and functional specifications.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow workflows, forms, catalog items, and integrations.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience in UAT coordination and defect management.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.

Qualifications

• ServiceNow certifications such as CSA, CIS-ITSM, or CIS-CSM.
• Exposure to ServiceNow integrations, including REST/SOAP APIs and MID Server.
• Basic understanding of ServiceNow scripting, JavaScript, and Glide API.
• Experience with platform upgrades, migrations, or large transformations.
• Knowledge of CMDB, Discovery, and ITOM concepts.
• Familiarity with GenAI and Now Assist use cases in ServiceNow.
• Exposure to DevOps and CI/CD pipelines for ServiceNow.
• Knowledge of the ITIL framework.
