Specialist GBS OTC Operations

Key Responsibilities

• Perform accounting tasks in AR Wholesale, Retail, and eCom for larger markets, handling market-specific cases.
• Check and review tasks handled by junior members, including cash application and master data changes.
• Perform sales-versus-collection reconciliation for key customers, landlords, and online stores.
• Prepare and analyze reports such as AR deduction, eCom reconciliation, and Retail aging and collection analysis reports.
• Perform and review month-end closing tasks.
• Handle ad hoc requests and coordinate with others.
• Perform, coordinate, and review audit tasks, including reviewing quality results within the team.
• Create and maintain desktop procedures, checking for inconsistencies and improvement opportunities.
• Handle internal and external customer queries on complex cases.
• Prepare training material and provide training on specific cases within the area of responsibility.
• Allocate and handle group emails and tickets.
• Identify problems and bring them to the attention of the supervisor.
• Deliver training to junior and new members.
• Support the team lead on project delivery, including efficiency improvement and retail system upgrades.
• Raise and implement smart work ideas.

Requisite Education and Experience

• University degree or equivalent education required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ work experience in accounting.
