The Credit and Collections team is responsible for performing daily activities such as dunning and collection, dispute management and credit management, together with support in projects and process standardisation initiatives. The pursuit of excellence in all deliverables and being recognized as a highly trusted partner by stakeholders are the pillars for the team’s success, ensuring a stable and flawless business platform for adidas Europe.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure timely collection of receivables by working closely with customers and internal stakeholders and solve causes of non-payment.
- Ensure all received payments are allocated accurately and timely without errors.
- Follow up on discrepancies and ensure they are handled within a reasonable timeframe.
- Manage customer relationships, including problem resolution and root cause analysis.
- Assess and review customer credit risk regularly to mitigate risk for adidas according to credit policy.
- Review, analyze, and propose releases on credit-blocked deliveries.
- Provide insight into the customer’s accounts receivable position to the Credit & Collections leadership team and Sales and Finance stakeholders.
- Track disputes, forward them to the appropriate department, and follow up until closure.
- Identify improvement opportunities and support their implementation.
- Ensure desktop procedures are updated in line with standards and policies.

Cash Application, Customer Primary Data, Account and Sales Operations, Sales Market Finance.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Good finance acumen.
- Experience with SAP and Excel.
- Experience in a shared service environment or similar.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English and Polish in a business environment.
- Russian language would be a plus.
- Strong attention to detail.
- High degree of customer orientation.
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Self-motivated and self-directed.
- Curious with a growth mindset and keen to learn.
Required Education and Experience
- University degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a similar field.
- Two or more years of relevant work experience in accounting or corporate finance.
- Broad and deep theoretical understanding of the job function.
