Solutions Director with French

Atos is seeking a customer-facing Solutions Director with French who builds trust with clients and shapes high-value, complex solutions. The role provides vision, direction, and management to one or more bid solution teams, ensuring solutions are compelling, profitable, compliant, and aligned with customer requirements and Atos standards.

The Solution Director owns the complete solution proposal and its deliverability across business, technology, services, resources, timelines, and costs.

Responsibilities

Customer focus

• Work closely with customers to ensure a clear understanding of their business priorities and needs.
• Analyze and interpret customer business needs and frame their requirements in terms of Atos portfolio solutions.
• Present information in a compelling and concise manner at senior levels.
• Support contract negotiations and challenge the client when appropriate.
• Map and manage customer stakeholders.
• Present and negotiate the solution with customers from operational to CxO level.

Solution focus

• Define and lead the solution team to deliver an integrated end-to-end solution that fits customer needs and requirements.
• Specify assumptions and ensure appropriate clarification with the customer.
• Lead the collection of customer-specific data, such as due diligence, to validate solution accuracy.
• Create a solution cost model to commercial management standards.
• Explain and present the complete solution, including workforce reutilization after people take over.
• Lead the T&T solution and support the T&T Manager in achieving success in customer implementations.

Bid operations

• Understand and apply Atos bidding and relevant approval processes, including controls for delivery unit involvement during the bid phase.
• Sell the solution internally and challenge delivery cost and innovation.
• Devise suitable risk-mitigation strategies and document them in the risk register.
• Execute a controlled bid closure and handover to the operational authority or sponsor.

Requirements

• 10 years of experience in Solution Management or Solution Architect roles in presales, solution design, or equivalent roles.
• Ability to travel without restrictions and at short notice.
• Ability to bring the solution team together physically at crucial stages.
• Advanced French and English language skills.
