We are looking for a Solution Architect with more than 5 years of experience as an architect, solid technical expertise, and fluent English to work on critical projects led by a global leader in maritime transport. The successful candidate will have a general data-oriented profile and work across several customer areas within the IT competence center.
Main mission
- Collect and challenge business needs, engage with stakeholders, and translate functional needs into technical solutions.
- Design and formalize the Technical Architecture Design (TAD), explain architectural choices, and present them to stakeholders.
- Define and maintain a coherent, robust architecture aligned with company standards and roadmap.
- Adopt a generalist approach across a wide range of applications and technologies.
- Transfer designs to technical teams and support implementation.
- Propose improvements to tools, methods, and best practices.
- Participate in architecture governance and ensure the quality of deliverables.
Expected skills
- Generalist Solution Architect experience.
- Experience in data integration and processing.
- Knowledge of Camunda, Kong, Apigee, Airflow, Lucid App, Snowflake, Qlik Sense, and Master Data Management.
- Familiarity with Data Lake high-level design and medallion architecture using Gold, Silver, and Bronze layers to define service levels.
- Solid knowledge of orchestration, APIs, ESB, and application flows.
- Good understanding of BPM and RPA environments.
- Ability to communicate with business lines, understand their needs, and propose suitable solutions.
- English language proficiency at B2 level.
Nice to have
- Cloud experience with AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
- API experience with Mulesoft, Spring Boot, or Camel.
- Experience with AI generation of coding.
- Event and integration experience with Solace, Pulsar, Kafka, or Flink.
- Experience with Confluence, Jira, and Lucid App.
- Ability to make an average of 1–2 trips to Marseille per year.
- French language skills.
