Tasks
This role is responsible for supporting RD China-related application development as a software engineer and providing solutions based on research and development tasks for vehicle development, including RD telematics, autonomous driving, and AI-related topics.
- Develop IT systems and applications.
- Gather and analyze technical requirements.
- Lead the design, review, and optimization of technical solutions, system architecture, and business processes.
- Apply a strong technical background in software engineering, system development, and technical problem-solving.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a relevant field.
- Minimum five years of IT or R&D working experience in the automotive industry.
- Strong technical background with hands-on development experience in IT systems, applications, AI use cases, or ADAS stacks and toolchains, with successful project delivery.
- Proficiency in Node.js, C, C++, Python, Java, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar technologies; familiarity with Linux development environments and CUDA/OpenCL parallel acceleration technology.
- Proficiency in cloud-native architecture and tools, including Kubernetes, Docker, and Istio.
- Proficiency in at least one CI/CD toolchain, such as Argo CD or GitLab CI/CD.
- Good understanding of the full software lifecycle, including requirements management, architecture design, coding, CI/CD, verification, and configuration management.
- Familiarity with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, and Flink, including large-scale data processing and data lake and data warehouse architecture design.
