How your role will add to the story

As a member of Corporate Security's Global Security Situation Center (SitCenter), you will help ensure continuous global security support by monitoring and assessing risks across the Americas region, providing expert guidance to business stakeholders, travellers, and local security teams. You will play a critical role in incident and crisis management, coordinating response efforts to protect employees and business operations worldwide.

A day in the life

Global Security Monitoring & Incident Management (65%)

  • Provide SitCenter coverage as part of a 24/7 global support model.
  • Monitor and assess global security developments, focusing on the Americas region, and recommend mitigation measures.
  • Respond to security incidents and support incident management activities.
  • Prepare security briefings, threat assessments, reports, presentations, and intelligence products.
  • Track, document, and analyse security incidents, cases, and emerging trends.

Travel Security, Emergency & Crisis Support (15%)

  • Support travel and expatriate security programs, including travel risk assessments.
  • Provide security guidance on travel security, event protection, and emergency preparedness.
  • Support regional and global crisis management activities.

Project, Process & Security Program Management (15%)

  • Lead and support projects that enhance security operations and team effectiveness.
  • Manage and improve security processes, procedures, guidelines, and work instructions.
  • Contribute to the development and optimization of corporate security programs.

Knowledge Sharing & Stakeholder Engagement (5%)

  • Communicate lessons learned, best practices, and security insights.
  • Support adoption of security standards and incident management processes.
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders and external security partners.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Political Science, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience in corporate security, intelligence, crisis management, risk management, or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience preparing reports, briefings, and presentations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Interest in global affairs, geopolitical developments, and emerging security trends.
  • Knowledge of travel security, intelligence analysis, incident management, or crisis response is an asset.
  • Experience with OSINT, data analytics, AI technologies, digitalization initiatives, or intelligence tools is an asset.
  • Fluency in English is required; German and/or Spanish are assets.
  • Overtime and travel may be required.
