  • Configure vehicle network simulations and test communication interfaces.
  • Analyze test results, logs and network traces to identify issues and support root-cause analysis.
  • Develop fault-injection and robustness tests across SIL, HIL and vehicle environments.
  • Collaborate with system, software, integration and safety teams to clarify requirements and resolve technical issues.
  • Act as a key technical interface with the customer and support the technical onboarding and guidance of additional V&V engineers.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in automotive, embedded or autonomous-system V&V/testing.
  • Strong hands-on experience with CAPL and Vector CANoe/CANalyzer, including test development and network simulation.
  • Strong knowledge of ROS2 middleware; familiarity with DDS and SOME/IP.
  • Knowledge of vehicle communication protocols, including CAN, CAN FD and J1939.
  • Programming and test automation experience using Python and C++.
  • Experience with SIL/HIL testing, test automation and debugging of distributed embedded systems.
  • Ability to interpret system requirements, identify relevant signals and interfaces, and translate them into effective test scenarios.
  • Ability to work independently, lead technical discussions and interface directly with the customer and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
  • UDS diagnostics and knowledge of ISO 26262 and safety validation activities are an asset.
